Using This Site And Final Preparations

I want you to step back and look at yourself.  There is nothing stopping you from achieving your dreams, but yourself.  You are going to get what you want and there is no settling for less.  This site is going to guide you there, but you will have to do the work to achieve your goals.  I'm glad you took the time to navigate through this section of the site.  I hope that it will get you thinking about the obstacles you will face and ways you can overcome them.

Each section of the site will have a description of it's uses unless it is already obvious, for example the About Ryan section.  The Band Forum is the backbone of the site and will be where you can communicate with other musicans, and essentially join our music family.  

Once you get your members together and have created some music, the next logical step is creating your band name.  Choosing a band name can be as easy as looking at the first object you see, or as difficult as debating for weeks as to what will work and what won't.  For some, the band name is meaningless, it's all about the music, but for others, the name can be as important as the music itself since it is your essential headline for your music.  For example, what sounds more appealing to you?

Toe Dirt

For me, and I'm sure for many, Divine Apocalypse sounds a hell of a lot better than Toe Dirt.  The point I'm trying to make is that you should take time on deciding a symbolic and meaningful band name that satisfies all members of the band.  Will a bad band name prevent you from being famous?  Most likely not... because you can always change it, and if your music is riveting enough, no one is going to care.  However, since you are probably not already famous, the point is to sell yourself.  For example one of my former bands Division By Zero means, if you divide anything by zero it's undefined.  One of the biggest compliments we frequently received was about the diversity of our music.  It wasn't just the same old crap where every song sounds the same.
